If you are like us and romanticize times gone by, in this case, the 18th century, now you can actually live the fantasy. Thus, the fitting name "Madame de Pompadour". The bodice, sleeves and center front skirt of this dress are made of a gorgeous brocade based on an antique wallpaper pattern. The combination of hunter green and wine is amazing, and absolutely pops. The iridescent taffeta has such a nice stiffness to it that the dress does not even need an underskirt, though it would really take this dress to the next level. This dress is fully detailed in wine velvet ribbon and bows, which truly gives it an old French antique feel. The bodice and sleeves are lined in a silky wine satin, because we want you to feel special inside and out. Viva La France!!
